Wawa Inc. is one of the nation’s leading c-store chains, particularly when it comes to foodservice. In addition to a slew of fresh foods and beverages, Wawa also sells a wide selection of private-label products such as bagged Wawa coffees, dairy products and teas.

The chain grows almost exclusively through construction of new stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Florida and Washington, D.C.

In 2021, Wawa debuted its first standalone drive-thru store. The 1,800-square-foot drive-thru-only retail outlet in Morrisville, Pa., is based on key Wawa brand elements such as the trademarked canopy, while the offer is focused on fresh food in a drive-thru and curbside pickup experience.
