Byrne Dairy Co.

Byrne Dairy, family owned and operated since 1933, operates convenience stores under the Byrne Dairy & Deli brand throughout Upstate New York. It opened its first c-store in 1954.

Byrne Dairy, which distributes milk, ice Cream and a variety of other dairy products, also created its own deli, offering fresh sandwiches, salads, pizza, wings, hamburgers and more. Shelby's Donuts is another Byrne Dairy creation, with many stores now carrying fresh doughnuts and cookies from the chain’s own bakery.

In January 2021, the retailer opened a new Byrne dairy deli and gas station in Ithaca, N.Y. The 24-hour store includes a full-service deli counter, hot pizza by the slice or pie, Shelby’s Donuts and ice cream cones. It also features a full selection of Byrne Dairy milk and ice cream, as well as groceries.
