Stinker Stores Inc.

Stinker Stores is a privately owned Idaho-based company founded by Farris Lind in 1936. Stinker's iconic brand features a feisty skunk mascot, Polecat Pete, promoted through the company's website, social-media and in the chain's Mountain States' locations. Stinker Stores are known for active community partnerships.

In 2020, the company focused on remodeling and rebuilding existing locations, as well as planning for exciting enhancements to its traditional c-store offerings. Also in 2020, Stinker Stores partnered with cannabidiol (CBD) manufacturer CBD Global Sciences Inc. to launch its products in selected c-stores in Idaho, Colorado and Wyoming.

In 2021, the company began rolling out its Pete's Eats Fresh to Go food program and its 1936 coffee bar, along with a new Stinker app. Inside the app, customers can play games to win free items, earn rewards on purchases and find money saving coupons for fuel and in-store items.

In addition to Stinker c-stores, the Stinker family of companies includes Arrowrock Supply, a tobacco and grocery wholesale distribution company serving Stinker and other retailers throughout Idaho, and Westpoint Transportation, a trucking company specializing in the transportation of motor fuels and petroleum products in Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming and Montana.
