Energy North Group

Energy North Group has grown considerably in the past year, adding more entities to its portfolio of convenience stores, gas stations, car washes and foodservice locations in New England and Upstate New York. In 2020, Energy North Group acquired eight convenience stores and one car wash from Tradewinds Markets, a family-owned company in Maine. The company also entered a partnership with Sal's Pizza to bring the Boston brand into its sites. ENG also expanded into New Hampshire in 2020 with the acquisition of Putnam Fuel Company. ENG also acquired a store and gas station in Brewer, Maine, and re-introduced the Mobil fuel brand, offering customers the Exxon Mobil Rewards+ program and contactless payment. Other fuel brands at ENG sites include Citgo, Gulf and Sunoco, along with the private label fuel brands Haffner's and Tradewinds. Besides operating the Haffner's Gasoline stations, the company's Haffner Energy Group distributes heating oil and propane and offers heating and cooling services. ENG sites feature a variety of foodservice partners, including Aroma Joe's, The Anchor Deli, Dippin' Donuts, Dunkin', Honey Dew, McDonald's, Sal's Pizza, Subway and Wicked Good. The company's convenience stores are branded Energy North, Haffner's and Tradewinds.
