Jet Food Stores selected technology company TransAct Technologies Inc. for its BOHA! Terminal 2 technology.

The convenience-store chain, based in Sandersville, Georgia, expects to deploy 47 terminals in all 42 of its locations that offer fresh food by September.

The retailer will use the terminals for date code and Grab n’ Go labeling with an expected average revenue per unit of approximately $1,500.

  • Jet Food Stores is No. 135 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

“Our BOHA! suite of products is the perfect product for any business that serves fresh food to go and is serious about reducing labor and waste across their operations,” said John Dillon, CEO of TransAct. “Our newest deployment with Jet Food Stores across their entire fresh food line of stores highlights the speed and flexibility of BOHA! Terminal 2, allowing employees to save time and stay in compliance with FDA labeling requirements.”

Jet Food Stores is a chain of 52 convenience stores throughout central and southern Georgia, with the goal of growing through new-to-industry locations.
