A popcorn brand created by a TikTok-famous family has found shelf space in 10,000 7-Eleven and Speedway convenience stores around the country.

Be Happy Snacks Popcorn, launched by the D’Amelio family in October, is now available in three flavors (Cotton Candy, White Cheddar and Himalayan Pink Salt) at the Irving, Texas-based c-store giant’s stores.

The snacks had originally been sold exclusively in Walmart stores. The gluten-free popcorn is available in 1-ounce bags at 7-Eleven and Speedway stores starting at $2.29 and in larger-format bags at Walmart and Albertsons banners nationwide.

“Be Happy Snacks is the perfect snack to have on hand for all of this season’s experiences, and we’re thrilled to be bringing our popcorn to our followers in a more convenient format,” Be Happy Snacks co-founder and CEO Marc D’Amelio said in a statement. “Partnering with 7-Eleven and Speedway was a seamless way to ensure that our fans will be able to take Be Happy Snacks with them no matter where the summer takes them.”

Marc is the patriarch of the D’Amelio family, which also includes mom Heidi and sisters Charli and Dixie. In 2020, Charli became the first person to amass 100 million TikTok followers. Her sister followed her onto the social media platform. A Disney-backed reality TV show about the family aired for three seasons on Hulu.

To promote the new portable Be Happy Snacks line, the D’Amelio family is hosting the Ultimate Theme Park Giveaway through Aug. 25. Consumers can scan the QR code on the back of the popcorn packages to enter for a chance to win a five-day trip for four to Disneyland as well as lunch with the D’Amelio Family.

The snack brand’s connection to social media will likely drive sales. Thirty-four percent of consumers look to social media to discover new snack foods and trends, according to research released in May by Chicago-based firm Circana.

7-Eleven operates, franchises or licenses more than 83,000 convenience stores in 19 countries and regions, including more than 13,000 7-Eleven convenience stores in the United States. In addition to 7-Eleven c-stores, the company operates and franchises Speedway and Stripes c-stores and the Laredo Taco Company, Speedy Cafe and Raise the Roost Chicken and Biscuits restaurant brands.
