Convenience-Store Chains Roll Out Deals to Celebrate National Hot Dog Day on July 17

National Hot Dog Day is Wednesday, July 17, and these convenience-store chains are among those offering deals to celebrate.

EG America

EG America, Westborough, Massachusetts, has an entire week of promotions tied to the hot dog. The deals will be available at the following stores across the country: Cumberland Farms, Turkey Hill, Quik Stop, Certified Oil, Fastrac, Tom Thumb, Minit Mart, Kwik Shop, Loaf ’N Jug and Sprint.

  • July 15: 99-cent all-beef hot dog
  • July 16: Buy one, get one free hot dog
  • July 17: Two hot dogs for $2
  • July 18: Buy one, get one free hot dog
  • July 19: A free large fountain drink with the purchase of  two hot dogs
  • July 20 and 21: Buy two hot dogs, get one free

Roller grill availability varies by store, and hot dogs include unlimited toppings. The free drink is valid on any large fountain drink only and excludes HyperFreeze, Frozen Cold Brew and Frazil.

“In honor of America’s affection for hot dogs, we’re going big this year for National Hot Dog Day,” said Michael Limoges, EG America’s senior vice president of store operations. “From 99-cent hot dogs to our BOGO [buy one, get one] deal to buy two hot dogs and get a free fountain drink, we have something for every hot dog lover this July.”

Love’s

At Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, the company, in partnership with Oklahoma City-based Schwab Meat Co., is offering each customer one free hot dog or roller grill item redeemable through the Love’s Connect App on July 17.

“Our customers are at the heart of what we do," said Joe Cotton, vice president of food service for Love’s, Oklahoma City. “National Hot Dog Day is a wonderful way for us to thank our loyal patrons and introduce new customers to the quality and convenience we deliver every day.”

Customers can access the barcode for their free hot dog or roller grill item on the Love’s Connect app from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. July 17. Love’s roller grill items include Schwab’s Hot Dogs, Tornados, Roller Bites and more. A full selection of toppings is also available.

GPM Investments

At Richmond, Virginia-based GPM Investments, fas Rewards members who buy a fountain drink get a free Nathan’s hot dog on July 17.

This deal is available at all GPM-owned and -operated locations, including Fas Mart, E-Z Mart, Handy Mart, Li’l Cricket, Scotchman and others.

7-Eleven

At 7-Eleven, for $3, customers can enjoy a Big Bite and a Big Gulp 30-ounce drink. Each Big Bite hot dog purchase includes add-on toppings like hot chili, melted nacho cheese, fresh onions, jalapenos and pico de gallo—or classics like ketchup, mustard, relish, pickles, mayonnaise or sauerkraut.
