QuikTrip is building convenience stores in Indiana. The locations will be in Daleville and Battle Ground and will be the chain's first two stores in the state.

“QuikTrip is currently in the early planning stages of expanding into Indiana, with one location under construction in Daleville, Indiana,” Aisha Jefferson, the convenience-store chain’s corporate communications manager, told CSP. “Construction has not begun on the Battle Ground location; we anticipate starting construction within the next year.”

According to the retailer’s website, the Battle Ground location will be located off Interstate 65 and State Route 43.

  • QuikTrip is No. 9 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count.

QuikTrip, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has more than 1,000 locations in 18 states. Over the past year, the retailer has expanded its unit growth nationwide, including the Midwest and Texas. In April, QuikTrip opened a new travel center in Rockford, Illinois. And in March, it opened a new convenience store in Champaign, Illinois. The privately held company is also planning new convenience stores in Florida and Kentucky.

The entrance into the Indiana market “presents an ideal market for our Travel Center concept due to its high-traffic interstate and robust economy. We are excited to join the community and become a good neighbor,” Jefferson said.
