Convenience-store retailer Casey’s General Stores Inc., ahead of fall and football season, has turned a game-day favorite appetizer into a pizza with the introduction of Jalapeño Popper Pizza.

The new offering features Philadelphia Whipped Cream Cheese, a blend of real cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, bacon, mild pickled jalapeños and a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey.

“Casey’s new Jalapeño Popper Pizza is the latest evidence of our promise to lead the way in unexpected food innovations, proving that you can enjoy a delicious, boldly flavored meal from a convenience store,” said Tom Brennan, Ankeny, Iowa-based Casey’s chief merchandising officer.

The Jalapeño Popper Pizza is available in stores by the slice, and customers can order a whole pizza online or in the Casey’s app for a limited time. Customers can now also add a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey on any pizza when they order it online.

Other fall deals at Casey’s:

  • 50% off a large single-topping pizza when you buy any large pizza
  • $15 large breakfast pizzas from Sept. 12 through Sept. 15
  • $10 large pepperoni pizza on Sept. 20 for National Pepperoni Pizza Day

Casey’s General Stores, No. 3 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count, operates more than 2,600 convenience stores in the greater Midwest under the Casey’s and GoodStop brands and in Texas under the Lone Star Food Stores brand. The company is the third-largest convenience-store retailer, the fourth-largest holder of liquor licenses and the fifth-largest pizza chain in the United States.
