VERC Promotes Manager

O'Donovan named store operations director

DUXBURY, Mass. -- Independent convenience store/gas station retailer VERC Enterprises has promoted Kieran O'Donovan to the position of store operations director.

O'Donovan joined VERC Enterprises in 1997 as the manager of the Danvers, Mass., location, and he worked most recently as a district manager for the company. Prior to joining VERC Enterprises, O'Donovan worked for more than eight years in the industry including his position as a manager for Christy's Market.

As store operations director for VERC Enterprises, O'Donovan [image-nocss] will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's 17 locations. In addition, his responsibilities will include personnel and companywide marketing efforts.

O'Donovan, from County Kerry, Ireland, is a member of the New England Convenience Store Association (NECSA), where he has served on the education committee.

Duxbury, Mass.-based VERC Enterprises operates locations throughout eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
