Sheetz’s first Michigan location at 33380 Wick Road, Romulus, Michigan, is set to open in late summer, and the convenience-store chain has announced plans for four more Detroit-area stores.

The Altoona, Pennsylvania-based c-store chain said those new locations are:

  • 8200 Telegraph Road, Taylor, Michigan 48180
  • 20623 Eureka Road, Taylor, Michigan 48180
  • 45011 Garfield Road, Macomb, Michigan 48044
  • 31925 Van Dyke Ave., Warren, Michigan 48093

In addition to these locations, Sheetz previously announced it would open new stores in Romulus on Middlebelt Road, just north of Interstate 94, and in Chesterfield on 23 Mile Road, just east of Interstate 94.

To show its commitment to the Detroit community, Sheetz said it will donate $10,000 to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Michigan to support the organization’s mission of creating and supporting mentoring relationships. It will also donate $10,000 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan to help with the organization’s goal of creating safe spaces for local youth to learn.

Established in 1952 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Sheetz currently operates more than 740 convenience stores in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland. Sheetz is No. 13 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.
