Quick Changes at Fas Mart/Shore Stop

Chivington goes to Turkey Hill

MECHANICSVILLE, Va. -- GPM Investments LLC, operator of Fas Mart/Shore Stop Convenience Stores, has promoted Russ Quick to vice president of sales and marketing, effective immediately. He fills the shoes ofBrad Chivington, the former head of the department, who has left the company to pursue other opportunities.

Chivington was with GPM for six years. Sources told CSP Daily News that he is joining the Turkey Hill Minit Markets chain based in Lancaster, Pa. Turkey Hill is a division of The Kroger Co., Cincinnati.

Quick has been [image-nocss] with the Mechanicsville, Va.-based company for five years, starting as a foodservice category manager and most recently serving as marketing manager, supervising all aspects of category management.

Prior to joining GPM, Quick worked with Garb-Ko, a Saginaw, Mich.-based c-store chain and 7-Eleven licensee with more than 170 locations.In six years with GPM, Chivington was instrumental in reshaping the company's marketing focus.
