Nashville’s population surged in 2023, intaking 86 people a day, according to population estimates from United States Census Bureau. The Nashville Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) added a total of 31,554 to the population rolls through natural population changes as well as more people coming from other parts of the country.The Nashville MSA population, which includes Davidson, Murfreesboro and Franklin counties, is estimated at 2.1 million. “Job creators are pursuing talent, and Nashville has perfected the trifecta of attracting, growing and retaining talent to our region,” said Jeff Hite, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce chief economic development officer.
