Former Fox New host Tucker Carlson now has a new job description title—nicotine pouch business owner. The former Fox News host’s company is called Alp Nicotine Pouches (ALP).

The nicotine pouches will be coming in November and are being developed and designed in the United States, according to the company’s website. “The all-new nicotine pouch ALP satisfies and frees your mind,” the website said. “At ALP, we believe in a better time.”

Carlson up until recently has been vocal about being a devoted fan of Zyn. According to a Feb. 18 Wall Street Journal report, the Stamford, Connecticut-based tobacco company said it “has declined requests from Carlson’s representatives to form a partnership with the brand.”

On a podcast Tuesday with Old Row,  the Conservative pundit said he has now ditched the brand because of political differences.

“Well, I’m going through a period of transition in my life with nicotine pouches,” he said. “I’ve used a certain brand. I’m embarrassed to say it. It’s made by a huge company, huge donors to Kamala Harris. I’m not gonna use that brand anymore. I mean, I think it’s fine. It’s good for like your girlfriend or whatever, but I don’t think men should use that brand. It starts with a Z.”

Philip Morris International (PMI), which bought Zyn maker Swedish Match North American in 2022 issued the following statement to CSP:

"Philip Morris International and its affiliates do not make political contributions to any presidential campaigns. It's frustrating that Mr. Carlson wants to turn Zyn into a political football to promote his own business venture. Zyn enjoys bipartisan support in Washington, D.C., and around the country because it provides adults who smoke, Republicans and Democrats alike, a better alternative to combustible cigarettes."
