Juice Monster Rio Punch is the new flavor from Monster Energy.

“Inspired by the explosive energy of Rio de Janeiro’s Carnival and the lush diversity of Brazilian fruits, this new drink is a true celebration of flavor and vitality,” the Corona, California-based company said, adding that the beverage is “a totally new taste sensation that blends exotic fruit flavors with a hint of spice.”

“Juice Monster Rio Punch is our homage to the vibrant spirit and exotic tastes of Brazil,” said Dan McHugh, Monster Energy chief marketing officer. “With its combination of lively fruit flavors and energizing boost, this drink captures the essence of the world-famous carnival, transporting you straight to the heart of Rio. Rio Punch gives you the energy to party from the shores of Copacabana Beach to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain.”

The full line also includes Juice Monster Aussie Style Lemonade, Juice Monster Khaotic, Juice Monster Mango Loco, Juice Monster Pacific Punch and Juice Monster Pipeline Punch.

“Each can of Juice Monster Rio Punch is fully loaded to fuel your adventures and keep the celebration going, whether you’re surfing, hiking or traveling the globe,” the company said. “Ignite your energy with every sip and let Juice Monster Rio Punch turn your day into a festival.”

Last month, Monster Beverage Corp., maker of the Monster Energy drink, reported net sales for the second-quarter 2024 increased 2.5% to $1.90 billion, from $1.85 billion in the same period last year.

However, despite this increase in net sales, Hilton Schlosberg, vice chairman and co-CEO, said the energy drink category has experienced lower growth rates in second-quarter 2024.
