Blarney Castle Oil

As it has been since 1933, Blarney Castle Oil Co. remains a family-owned Michigan-based business, operating convenience stores branded EZ Mart in conjunction with fuel brand names including bp, Marathon, Mobil, Shell and Sunoco. Many of the EZ Mart locations offer a proprietary food program, Lucky Louie's and/or Chester's Chicken.

In fall 2022, the company executed a purchase agreement with Alpena Oil Co. for 19 c-stores, which closed on Jan. 25, 2023. About 75% of the EZ Mart locations are in northern Michigan, with the remaining locations in the more populated central and southern Michigan areas.

In addition to the convenience stores, Blarney Castle owns and operates 10 bulk plant locations that offer propane and home heating oil service, commercial fuel and bulk lubricant sales.
