Maverik, which last year acquired the Kum & Go convenience-store chain, is letting the latter’s customers know that they should use their Kum & Go &Rewards points now—or lose them when a store is rebranded. The company provided an update on expected store closures and reopening dates.

“Your Kum & Go &Rewards won’t roll over, so remember to use all your &Rewards points before your store closes!” Salt Lake City-based Maverik posted on its website. “But if you like saving money, you should join Maverik’s rewards program, the Adventure Club.”

The post also says, “Kum & Go locations are gearing up to take convenience to the next level when they reopen as Maverik—Adventure’s First Stop. We’re working hard to make the transition as seamless as possible, but there will be some brief closures during each location's remodeling process.”

The post includes upcoming Colorado and Wyoming Kum & Go store closures and reopening dates in Colorado and Wyoming throughout July, August and September, which can be found here. Closures last about a week before reopening as Maverik, and kitchens will close a few days before a store closes.

“Each store’s kitchen will close before the store closes in order to get a jump start on remodels,” said Maverik, which announced a new CEO this week. “During this time, no hot food or drinks will be available during that time. You’ll still be able to get goodies from the cold case and bakery, including sandwiches and doughnuts.”

Maverik’s Adventure Club rewards include:

  • Punch-It! digital punch cards that don’t have time limits.
  • Save 2 cents on fuel, every gallon, every day.
  • Use Trail Points to pay for in-store purchases and to enter to win stuff.
  • Get freebies and exclusive offers on the Maverik app.

Upgraded benefits with the Nitro Card include:

  • Save 10 cents or more every gallon, every day.
  • Free BonFire burrito with sign up.
  • $1 extra-large fountain beverages every day.
  • $1 large hot beverages every day.
  • Exclusive offers.
