QuikTrip is quickly expanding its new brick-and-mortar locations in several states in the South, including a new travel center in Dublin, Georgia.

The location, off Interstate 16 at U.S. 441 and Firetower Rd., opened Thursday, bringing QuikTrip’s store count in Georgia to 168.

“We are excited to bring QuikTrip’s signature commitment to quality and efficient service to Dublin,” said QuikTrip Corporate Communications Manager Aisha Jefferson. “Our travel center model will offer a clean and friendly stop for the residents of Dublin as well as the many travelers driving throughout Middle Georgia.”

The Dublin location features a more spacious store design than a traditional QuikTrip and brings two dozen new jobs to the area, QuikTrip said.

The store will feature a full-service kitchen with fresh, made-to-order meals, grab-and-go options including QuikTrip’s signature pizza by the slice and roller grill items.

  • QuikTrip is No. 9 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by store count.

QuikTrip’s plans to continue expanding its geographic footprint includes the state of Kentucky, at the corner of Lincoln Parkway and U.S. 31 in Elizabethtown.

The privately held company is also planning a Las Vegas store slated to open in December. It expects to open Florida locations in 2025.

Founded in 1958, QuikTrip, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has grown to a more than $11 billion company with more than 1,000 stores in 18 states.
