Love’s Travel Stops & County Stores has had a busy summer, opening a new location in Delphos, Ohio, remodeling a travel stop in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and closing on the acquisition of  REV Capital’s U.S. transportation factoring portfolio.

  • Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is No. 16 on CSP’s 2024 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

Here’s a look at what the Oklahoma City-based retailer has been up to…

New Mexico Travel Stop Reopens

Love’s reopened its Las Cruces, New Mexico, store after it was rebuilt from the ground up. The location is open 24/7 and offers amenities including fresh food and drinks, Love’s branded snacks, a Subway and a Wendy’s.

The travel stop adds 84 truck parking spaces to Love’s network and six RV hookups will open later.

In honor of the opening, Love’s donated $5,000 to Organ Mountain High School.

Love’s Opens New Store in Ohio

Love’s opened a new store off of U.S. 30 and Lincoln Highway in Delphos, Ohio. It offers all the amenities Love’s is known for and has a Hardee’s.

The store adds 86 truck parking spaces to Love’s network.

In honor of the opening, Love’s donated $5,000 split between the Delphos Fire Department and Delphos Public Library.

Love’s Financial Closes on Acquisition

Love’s Financial has closed on its acquisition of REV Capital’s U.S. transportation factoring portfolio. With the acquisition, it welcomes more than 500 new financial services customers.

The move aligns with Love’s plans to grow its financial services business and offerings during Love’s Financials’ 10th anniversary year.

The deal closed July 26, and the companies did not disclose the terms.

“During a challenging freight market, this acquisition underscores Love’s commitment to grow strategically as a leader in helping owner operators and fleets of any size grow their business,” said Shane Wharton, Love’s president. “These new clients can expect the same best-in-class customer service Love’s existing customers have come to expect, with scalable funding to maximize growth and cash flow.”

REV Capital, Woodbridge, Ontario, manages cash flow for a variety of clients, Love’s said.

Love’s new clients gain access to additional bundled services at Love’s nationwide network of travel stops, including fuel discounts, a no-fee credit line on Love’s Express Billing Program, and access to emergency roadside service, light mechanical services, lube and preventative maintenance at Love’s Truck Care and Speedco.

Love’s Financial service offerings include advanced freight factoring, Love’ s Express Credit,  RFID (radio frequency identification) fueling and a universal billing program. More information about Love’s financial services can be found at lovesfinancial.com.
