Hawaii Independent Energy (HIE) Retail—formerly known as Tesoro Hawaii—is a wholly owned subsidiary of Par Petroleum Corp., formed in 2013 to operate the more than 30 Tesoro-branded gasoline stations and convenience stores in Hawaii that the corporation acquired in its purchase of Tesoro Corp.'s Hawaii operations.

HIE Retail LLC holds the retail assets, including the stations, which sell fuel and merchandise on the islands of Oahu, Maui and Hawaii. In 2014, Par Petroleum acquired Koko'oha Investments Inc., the parent company of Mid Pac Petroleum LLC and the exclusive licensee of the "76" brand in Hawaii, bringing Par Petroleum's total sites to 111.

Par Petroleum describes itself as "a growth company that looks for acquisitions with strong fundamentals and employees who can move the business forward." The stores are known as “2Go Tesoro.” Some have car washes, but these are run by independent operators. There are no QSR brands in stores, although this may change as HIE gets its arms around the new business of running the c-stores.
