Jacobus Energy Installs SPATCO DEF Systems

Quick Fuel division offering diesel exhaust fluid technology at its automated fleet fueling centers

MILWAUKEE -- Quick Fuel, a division of Jacobus Energy Inc., one of the largest petroleum marketers in the United States, has purchased SPATCO DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) dispensing systems to be used in their automated fueling stations located on the U.S. East Coast.

"We are pleased to be able to offer Quick Fuel customers diesel, gasoline, bio-diesel and now diesel exhaust fluid in one convenient location, and we look forward to building on this relationship as Jacobus Energy expands their business to include alternative fuels such as CNG [compressed natural gas]," said SPATCO DEF president Jeff Dailey.

SPATCO DEF Dispensing Systems are available with 525-, 1,000- , 2,000-, or 5,000-gallon DEF tanks and are compatible with dispensers by Wayne and Gilbarco. Equipment is available through a nationwide network of distributors.

Charlotte, N.C.-based SPATCO DEF manufactures DEF Dispensing Systems for commercial and private fleets, municipalities, school and city bus garages, trucking companies, agriculture, construction and retail truckstops.

Designed specifically for commercial vehicles, Milwaukee-based Quick Fuel's 50-plus automated facilities offer a clean, secure environment, wide fueling lanes, high-speed satellite pumps, acceptance of most major fuel cards, plus the ability to track and report all the details about every fuel transaction-online and in real time.
