The year is 2030. There may not be flying cars, but a tech revolution has still taken place on the forecourt. There is a point of sale—it’s just not on the fuel dispenser. Customers can pay for fuel securely—thanks to tokens, not chips. And they can still buy that hot cup of coffee from inside the store, but they can have it delivered to them, with special pricing for that gallon of gasoline—or kilowatt of charge.
