LAS VEGAS -- Self-serve franchise Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt has launched Yumz Express, a kiosk-sized version of a full-size Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt store.
Yumz Express is designed to fit inside existing stores, such as movie theaters, restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, gas stations, pharmacies or other existing retail locations. Yumz Express offers the same frozen yogurt product as the full-size Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt stores. The kiosks offer up to five frozen yogurt machines with design flexibility to fit any size store.
The company created this concept to help retail store owners take advantage of the growing frozen yogurt industry within their existing store with projected sales of $500 or more per day.

Cost savings is one of the major selling points for a Yumz Express franchisee, said the company. A Yumz Express kiosk is a fraction of the price of building a full-size store, it said, which means operators may achieve return on investment (ROI) sooner.
Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt offers a rotating selection of more than 55 frozen yogurt flavors that are all fat free, low in calories and contain probiotics; and more than 75 toppings such as fruits, nuts, sauces and dry toppings.
Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt stores are currently located in Illinois, Indiana and Florida, with expected store openings in Illinois, Nevada, Wisconsin, Florida, California, Iowa and more in 2014.
Yumz Gourmet Frozen Yogurt enhances the frozen yogurt experience with its unique recipe and family-oriented atmosphere, the company said. Its frozen yogurt is available in four forms: tart, for the frozen yogurt purist; regular, which tastes like ice cream; no sugar added, for the extra health conscious; and sorbet, for those interested in dairy-free products. All range between 85 to 100 calories per serving.
