The three new limited-time offers from Spicewood, Texas-based TXB include a quesadilla and two offerings that include waffles sourced from Hartybake, Atlanta.

Available now through July 3, these on-the-go meals “aren’t your typical convenience store offerings, as TXB strives to provide guests with fresh meals that are convenient and directly competitive with restaurant-quality menu items daily,” the convenience-store chain said. “This is part of the brand’s larger initiative to ‘Leave ’Em Better’ by sourcing delicious, locally sourced ingredients from around Texas.”

The offerings are:

  • Wafflewich Deluxe ($5.29 or $7.49 for combo), a waffle breakfast sandwich filled with savory sausage, fluffy eggs and gooey cheddar cheese. The combo comes with a hash brown and drink of choice.
  • Al Pastor Quesadilla ($6.49), a sweet, smokey and spicy Mexican street food favorite that includes pulled pork and pineapple wrapped in a fresh-made, grilled tortilla.
  • Chicken and Waffles ($4.99), a box of waffles and chicken with a side of honey.

A previous TXB round of limited-time offers included another item with waffles, the Waffle Hash Brown. Meanwhile, handmade quesadillas offered in two stores were part of a fresh-made foodservice upgrade TXB rolled out in February.

“We were excited to pair our juicy signature chicken with a light and indulgent artisan liege waffle,” said Anna Felz, marketing and brand manager at TXB. “We’re so excited for our guests to try these delicious, fun offerings during the spring season. With the weather warming up, these are perfect outdoor brunch treats to enjoy with friends or a quick pick-me-up on the road.”

TXB is a family of convenience stores and food markets that emphasize the Texas roots and values the brand was built upon. With 52 locations throughout Texas and Oklahoma, TXB specializes in food prepared on site, serving more than 4,000 items including cold fountain drinks sweetened with sugar cane and a line of private-label products including jerky, water, coffee and more.

Formerly known as Kwik Chek, in 2020 the company announced a plan to rebrand all store locations to TXB to emphasize the Texas roots and values upon which the brand was built.
