ROCKLAND, Mass. -- Tedeschi Food Shops Inc. is celebrating the opening of its newest store in Quincy, Mass., with a customer appreciation sale and afternoon sampling event. This recently opened 3,926 square foot mini-market features an updated design aesthetic and many new service offerings unique to this location.
"We are proud of the enduring relationship we have established with our many customers in Quincy, and we look forward to providing them with the service and value that they have come to expect from Tedeschi Food Shops for years to come. We designed this store [image-nocss] with our increasingly health conscious customers in mind, and hope to attract new customers that have never thought of convenience stores as a place to purchase food for a healthy lifestyle," said Tedeschi.
A customer appreciation sampling event will take place at the store on Friday, May 27. Customers will be treated to samples of our signature TD's Deli sandwiches, subs and wraps; grilled Angus beef and chicken; Garelick Farms Swiss Iced Tea; Skinny Water; Phase III Recovery Drink; Frito Lay chips; Edy's ice cream; and freshly made Kayem Fenway Franks.
WEEI Sports Radio 850 AM and Canobie Lake Park will provide prizes and entertainment.
Customers are invited to attend the event and browse the store's selection of proprietary product lines including Tedeschi Select sodas, water, chips, pastry, and breads; and hot and iced flavored Green Mountain coffee. The store also carries a wide variety of chilled beverages, healthy snack foods and grocery needs.
The store is also running a sale on grocery staples like USDA Choice boneless steaks, DiLuigi sausages, Springer Mountain Farms all natural chicken, fresh fruit and Garelick Farms milk through May 30.
Services available in this new concept store include a butcher shop featuring all-natural certified Angus Beef; hot take-home meals; made-to-order pizzas; freshly baked artisan breads, rolls, pastries and muffins; specialty cheeses; an extended produce section featuring freshly cut flowers; smoothies and shakes; and all-natural frozen meat and meal options.
This store features TD's Deli, Tedeschi Food Shops' proprietary deli chain. TD's Deli features sandwiches, subs and wraps made with Thumann's meats and cheeses; custom-made pizza; fresh salads; hearty soups; satisfying breakfast sandwiches; and made-to-order party platters. Customers can place their deli orders at touch-screen kiosks, ensuring customization of every single order. Meals may be enjoyed in a comfortable seating area with complementary Wi-Fi access.
A ceremonial ribbon cutting took place at the store on Friday, May 20. Following the ceremony, which was attended by Quincy Mayor Tom Koch and city counselor Daniel Raymondi, Tedeschi Food Shops president and CEO Peter Tedeschi presented a donation to the Quincy Community Action Program.
Rockland, Mass.-based Tedeschi Food Shops, with more than $600 million in annual revenue, operates 190 convenience store locations throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
