Quick Chek Expands Coffee Offering With New Single-Origin Blend

Nicaraguan Matagalpa available from Feb. 22 to April 18

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- Quick Chek Food Stores Inc., the family-operated chain of more than 120 fresh-food convenience store locations throughout New Jersey and southern New York, has announced that Nicaraguan Matagalpa, a mildly roasted, medium-bodied coffee, will make its debut in all store locations beginning February 22.

Certified organic by Quality Assurance International, this Fair Trade-Certified Nicaraguan blend from the Matagalpa region features an earthy aroma with a hint of chocolate and spicy overtones.

"Coffee aficionados know Nicaragua's famed [image-nocss] Matagalpa region produces some of the area's best-known coffees," said Mandy Steindl-Kwiecien, category manager for Quick Chek. "We're certain our coffee customers will thoroughly enjoy this classic cup of coffee complete with its satisfying body, clean flavor and balance."

Available for a limited time only, Nicaraguan Matagalpa will be available at Quick Chek through April 18, the company said.
