Two new muffins and one cinnamon roll are fresh out of the oven from Prairie City Bakery.

The Vernon Hills, Illinois-based bakery just started a Coffee House Muffin product line, with the first two offerings coming in blueberry and banana nut (pictured right).

“Made using real fruit, you can taste the freshness and quality of our ingredients in every bite,” the company said. “The blueberry flavor is bursting with juicy, plump blueberries, while banana nut is loaded with sweet banana puree and crunchy walnuts.”

The 4-ounce muffins are individually wrapped and have a 45-day shelf life from thaw.

“They offer extended shelf stability without sacrificing quality and are the perfect size for a satisfying snack or light breakfast option,” the company said. “These muffins are perfect for convenience stores, coffee shops, cafes, hotels and any other foodservice establishment that wants to offer a high-quality, convenient snack option.

Also new is Prairie City Bakery’s bulk sweet cinnamon roll (pictured left).

“As consumers continue to seek out delicious snacks to brighten up their busy day, we’re certain our bulk cinnamon rolls will make your store a delicious destination,” the company said. “These rolls are packed with incredible taste and quality, thanks to the layers of sweet cinnamon in every bite and the generous dollop of cream cheese icing on top.”

The cinnamon rolls come packed in a four-count tray, with 10 trays to a case, and are served in a tulip cup to make it “easy for your customers to enjoy while on the go,” Prairie City Bakery said.

To enable retailers to offer fresh and convenient snacks to its customers, Prairie City Bakery said all its products are fresh frozen for maximum freshness and convenience.

Founded in 1994, Prairie City Bakery offers fully baked thaw-and-sell solutions. Its award-winning products can be found in convenience stores, micro-markets, in-store bakeries and foodservice chains throughout the United States.
