Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is getting in on the dirty soda trend with Midweek Mix-ups, a limited-time beverage mashup featuring “bold flavors at a budget-friendly price,” the convenience-store chain said.

Dirty sodas are a carbonated soft drink with added flavor syrups or creamers.

Each week in August and September, customers can buy two pre-selected drinks for $5. This includes a free large cup of ice to mix their custom creation.

“It’s a fun, affordable way to experiment with this tasty trend,” the Oklahoma City-based chain said.

The rest of August’s lineup is:

  • Aug. 11-17: Cherry Drift (18-ounce Bai Cherry and a 20-ounce Canada Dry)
  • Aug 18-24: Turbo Tang (20-ounce Squirt and a 16-ounce Ghost Orange Cream)
  • Aug. 25-31): Caf & Cola (20-ounce A&W Root Beer and an 11-ounce La Colombe Vanilla Draft Latte)

In the first week, Love’s offered a Patriot Punch, which was a 16-ounce Ghost Energy ’Merica Pop and a 16-ounce Ghost Cherry Limeade

Love’s is always monitoring the latest trends and listening to customers’ feedback on what they want,” Lauren Daniels, a Love’s spokesperson, told CSP. “As the mixed drink and dirty soda craze continues to trend on social media and with customers, we saw an opportunity to provide new flavors through unique combinations of drinks Love’s already offers to customers at a discounted rate through the Love’s Connect App.”

  • Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is No. 15 on CSP’s 2025 Top 202 ranking of convenience store chains by store count.

While these drinks were already in its stores, the discounted price to combine them with a cup of ice is a new concept Love’s, the company said.

“This is Love’s take on the dirty soda and mixed drink trend,” Daniels said. “We look forward to customer feedback and seeing where this goes down the road.”

The September flavors will be announced later this month on the Love’s Connect App and Love’s social media channels.

The Love’s Family of Companies, based in Oklahoma City, also includes Gemini Motor Transport, Musket Corp. and Speedco.
