Krispy Krunchy Rolls Out 'Sunrise Breakfast'

New program features biscuits, empanadas, burritos, more

JONESVILLE, La. -- Krispy Krunchy Foods has introduced a new branded breakfast program called "Sunrise Breakfast." The Sunrise Breakfast program consists of sausage and bacon biscuits, breakfast empanada, blueberry biscuits, breakfast burritos, chicken tender biscuits and honey butter biscuits already selling in Krispy Krunchy programs.

As with any Krispy Krunchy Foods concept, the Sunrise Breakfast program includes a full graphics package.

Breakfast is the fastest-growing daypart in foodservice, the company said. It is designed to be a positive profit center--with [image-nocss] an uncomplicated menu and easy preparation--as many stores see 40% of their foodservice business in the morning.

Krispy Krunchy Foods offers a quick-serve restaurant (QSR) concept with more than 600 retail locations in 25 states.

It features Cajun-style chicken which is always fried in zero trans fat oil with pizza, cajun chicken tenders, jambalaya, Boudin Bites (Cajun rice balls), catfish and honey butter biscuits. Krispy Krunchy offers a completely customized program with no franchisee or royalty fees. It is designed to give operators a professional and branded image with the ability to deliver quality food to their customers at a low price. The branded look includes a full graphics package, layout, design and scale drawings. The program may also be co-branded with another food program and use existing onsite equipment.
