Juanita's Foods Names Mark & Aaron De La Torre Co-CEOs

Appointments implement company's third-generation succession plan

WILMINGTON, Calif. -- Juanita's Foods has appointed Mark and Aaron De La Torre to be co-CEOs of the family-owned company. The brothers are sons of George De La Torre Jr., chairman, who is the son of George De La Torre Sr., founder with his nephew Albert Guerrero of Juanita's Foods in 1946.

The third-generation appointments are an integral part of the family's long-term succession plan.

Juanita's Foods is a major manufacturer and distributor of a full line of restaurant-quality refrigerated Mexican Gourmet entrees, canned Mexican [image-nocss] soups, canned entrees and Mexican beverages. Products are sold under the Juanita's, Juanita's Foods, Juanita's Foods Mexican Gourmet, Tia Anita's and Pico Pica brands.
