CSP Adds Talent to Foodservice Group

Vincer, Romeojoin leading industry publishing company; Anderson promoted
OAK BROOK, Ill. -- Since last year's merger with the foodservice portfolio assets of Ideal Media LLC, including Restaurant Business and FoodService Director magazines, CSP Information Group has grown to become the largest media company serving the entire foodservice marketplace.

Now, CSP has taken steps to further strengthen its service to the industry with two new additions to the CSP Foodservice Group, which also includes the MenuDirections conference, www.MonkeyDish.com and www.FoodServiceDirector.com.

Susan Vincer is joining the company in the newly created role of publisher of integrated media. Vincer comes to the CSP Foodservice Group from Nation's Restaurant News, where she has been responsible for e-media business for the past eight years. Vincer has also held leadership roles in event planning, business development and sales management for both Nation's Restaurant News and Restaurants & Institutions. In her new role, she will oversee the development of electronic and conference businesses.

Peter Romeo comes to the CSP Foodservice Group as editor-at-large. Most recently, Romeo led online content for Nation's Restaurant News. Prior to that, he was editor-in-chief of Restaurant Business. Romeo will also assume content development for the 2012 Restaurant Leadership Conference.

Further, Associate Group Publisher Bill Anderson has been promoted to publisher of both FoodService Director and Restaurant Business magazines.

"Bill's passion for each of these audiences--combined with his deep relationships and respect in the field--has been a vital element of our growth," said Scott Allmendinger, executive vice president of the Foodservice Group.

"The past five years have seen unprecedented and exciting growth for the CSP Foodservice Group despite one of the most challenging periods ever for media and our economy as a whole. I couldn't be more pleased to announce these changes to our team that will be critical in supporting our growth," he added.

"The B2B publishing industry is changing rapidly, changing the way we all do business," said Paul Reuter, president, CEO and editorial director of CSP Information Group. "These three appointments will propel CSP ahead in both traditional and emerging media: online, in print and in person."
