The new 6,570-square-foot store will open to the public Tuesday, September 22, at 5:00 a.m. following a special Quick Chek Coffee Toast ceremony [image-nocss] September 21 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. There, local officials, community members and store representatives will gather to grind, brew and pour the very first cup of Quick Chek's famed fresh coffee at the new store.
Managed by Store Leader Anthony Cantillo, Quick Chek's new Middletown, N.Y., location will include a coffee bar, sub shop, soup bar, bakery items made fresh everyday, a no-fee ATM center and 20 fueling stations.
And, during its first 30 days of operation, from September 22 to October 21, Quick Chek will thank the local community for its warm welcome by donating 25 cents for every sub, sandwich and wrap sold to the Middletown Volunteer Fire Department.
In other company news, updating a previous CSP Daily News report, Quick Chek's senior vice president Mike Murphy has returned from his trip to Whitefish, Mont., where he not only completed his 100-mile cycling ride to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's (JDRF) Ride to Cure Diabetes, but with a final tally of $14,000, he proudly wore the organization's green jersey during the trek earning the title of the JDRF's top fundraiser on the national level for the September event. Murphy currently serves as president of the Mid-Jersey chapter of JDRF.
