Moore Oil Co. will convert more than 20 of its Chevron Food Mart locations in the Birmingham, Alabama, area to ExtraMile-branded stores, Pleasanton, California-based ExtraMile announced Tuesday.

“ExtraMile is excited to expand our brand in Alabama and even more so with a trusted franchisee like Moore Oil that has been delivering for customers for more than 100 years,” said Brad Wolford, ExtraMile’s general manager of sales. “We look forward to continuing to provide an enhanced store environment, improved product offerings and high-quality service.”

Birmingham-based Moore Oil is Chevron’s long-standing and largest branded fuel marketer in Alabama, ExtraMile said.

The announcement underpins ExtraMile’s strategic expansion in the U.S. Southeast, the company said.

Conversions are expected to begin in early 2026, with full project completion anticipated in 2027, ExtraMile said.

ExtraMile Convenience Stores LLC is a joint venture owned by Chevron U.S.A. Inc. and Jacksons Food Stores. The ExtraMile network is made up of more than 1,100 franchised convenience stores licensed to brand in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, North Carolina, New Mexico, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. ExtraMile stores offer customers high-quality products, and a convenient, rewarding shopping experience while expanding digital capabilities to enhance the value of the ExtraMile Rewards program.
