With a canoe hanging from the ceiling and murals of snow-covered mountains, the interior of the store places a greater emphasis on bringing the outdoors inside and embodies the chain’s Adventure’s First Stop branding, complete with a realistic tree.
The customer service area is right by the front doors, making it easier for Maverik’s Adventure Guides to greet customers.
The Bonfire Grill concept is front and center, emphasizing to customers that food is made fresh in each of Maverik’s stores. All impulse racks, such as chips and candy, are built into the cabinets for a clean, polished merchandising look.
The Bonfire Grill concept features an open preparation area.
Maverik offers a variety of grab-and-go foods, from salads to wraps to sandwiches.
The new stores include a seating area both inside and outside. The timber look is now a standard for Maverik stores.
The fountain station also features a f’real blending bar for milkshakes and smoothies. The store calls the customer’s attention to key categories, including coffee, packaged beverages, foodservice and prepared food.
Gondola displays were lowered so customers can see across the store.
