The newest Country Club Car Wash location--there are six of them--in St. Louis doubles down on retailing with a 4,500-square-foot convenience store with 16 fueling positions out front and a collection of c-store staples inside, including snacks, candy, roller-grill items and fresh foods.
Here's a look inside ...
With 4,500 square feet to work with, Country Club Car Wash created a c-store space that is open and inviting, as well as easy to shop. The store’s interior features high ceilings, exposed ductwork and LED lighting.
Doughnuts are strategically placed next to the store’s coffee offerings. Country Club Car Wash ties promotional deals, including 50-cent coffee, fountain and frozen drinks, to the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues.
The checkout counter is opposite the store entrance for ease of traffic and security. A unique design detail is the reclaimed barn wood used along the walls.
Traditional c-store offerings include snacks, candy and gum, in addition to roller-grill items and fresh foods.
Fresh grab-and-go items include yogurt, fruit and veggies.
A wall of coolers offers ready-to-drink coffee, energy drinks and more.
Customers can pick from four wash options, including exterior and platinum washes.
