Fast Stop of Louisiana is giving a new look to its non-truckstop convenience stores with the rebranding to Fast Stop Express, Ammar Ziadeh, territory manager for the retailer told CSP Daily News on Wednesday.  The Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based retailer has already rolled out the new name at six locations.

The rebranding is a way to be “more convenient” for customers and to differentiate the retailer’s convenience stores from its truckstops, Ziadeh said.

The renaming is part of an expansion agreement with Gonzales, Louisiana-based Roland J. Robert Distributor Inc. The distributor and operator runs Super Stop convenience stores and truckstops in the Bayou State. Ziadeh told CSP Daily News that Fast Stop has already taken over two of the Super Stop stores, and eventually it will rebrand all Super Stop convenience stores as Fast Stop Express stores.

“Our vision is to take over all the operations,” he said.

Unit growth isn’t the only success Fast Stop is having. Ziadeh said Fast Stop’s foodservice, which includes po boys, fried chicken and seafood, are doing “really well.”

Fast Stop, founded in 2015, operates more than 35 stores in Louisiana and New Mexico. In 2023 Fast Stop acquired the 12-unit Snappy Mart Stores chain of convenience stores in Grant County, New Mexico, from W&N Enterprises Inc., Silver City, New Mexico.
