Carrie Stojack, who was vice president of guest insights at Casey’s General Stores, has retired.

“Well, that’s a wrap,” Stojack wrote in a LinkedIn post last week. “After 30-plus years in strategy and insights, I’ve decided to enter the transfer portal to retirement.”

Stojack, who held the position at the convenience-store chain since September 2020, added, “Along the way, I’ve been lucky to work with so many inspiring friends and colleagues who helped me learn, grow and laugh more than I ever expected.”

  • Casey’s General Stores Inc. is No. 3 on CSP2025 Top 202 ranking of convenience-store chains by store count.

Casey’s continues to have a dedicated guest insights team that reports to Brad Haga, senior vice president of prepared food and dispensed beverages, a Casey’s spokesperson told CSP.

Prior to joining Ankeny, Iowa-based Casey’s, Stojack was vice president of consumer insights at Dine Brands Global, Pasadena, California, according to her LinkedIn page. Before that, she was director of consumer insights at Taco Bell, Irvine, California.

In a statement shared with CSP, Haga said, “We are grateful for all of Carrie's contributions and wish her the best in retirement. At Casey’s, the guest remains central to all we do, and we continue to have a robust, dedicated guest insights function.”

Haga continued, “We continue to operate with a guest-centric mindset, building on the strong foundation and team that Carrie built here.”

In her LinkedIn post, Stojack also wrote that she’s open to serving on corporate boards.

“It has been an amazing run, and Casey’s was the perfect place to end my career,” Stojack also wrote in the post. “The team was like no other: Midwest-nice, hard-working, lightning-fast, fun and deeply collaborative. The guest is truly at the center, and insights drive smart, calculated risks every day. There are far too many people to thank, but you know who you are.”

Ankeny, Iowa-based Casey’s has about 2,900 convenience stores in 20 states. It is the third-largest c-store retailer and the fifth-largest pizza chain in the United States. In fiscal 2025, Casey’s built or acquired 270 stores, a record for the company. The majority came via Casey’s November 2024 acquisition of 198 CEFCO stores from Fikes Wholesale.
