DENVER — Performance wellness company Defy has partnered with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits to distribute Defy’s CBD beverage portfolio.
Defy’s Recover + CBD performance drinks are vegan, gluten-free, soy-free and made with natural flavors and sweeteners. Its beverages also come in Boost and Hydrate varieties to serve different functions. Defy sells both CBD and non-CBD beverages, like its alkaline water.
The partnership with Southern Glazer’s will help bring CBD beverages to retailers and consumers across the country, the Denver-based company said.
“This agreement emphasizes Southern Glazer’s forward thinking CBD initiatives,” said Defy CEO Megan Bushell. “We are proud to be partnering with such an industry giant as we spread the word about the advantages of CBD together.”
With 42 distribution centers, 14.8 million square feet of warehouse space and more than 2,600 delivery trucks, Southern Glazer’s supports a nationwide distribution network of hemp-derived CBD products. It is a multigenerational, family-owned company with operations in 44 U.S. states, the District of Columbia and Canada.
