QuickChek is adding Nerd Focus energy drinks to 153 of its convenience stores in New Jersey and New York, the Freehold, New Jersey-based beverage company said.

Nerd Focus is an energy drink with powerful nootropics and performance-boosting nutrients, the company said. It comes in Green Original and Blue Zero Calorie flavors.

“Convenience stores and gas stations are the go-to places for people on the move to head to when looking for pick-me-ups, and we are excited to kickstart our partnership with QuickChek, a well-established northeastern U.S. convenience store chain,” said Beverage USA Co-Founder Rocco LaVista. “Our partnership is more than just about providing clean and effective energy; it's about expanding our footprint and reaching new audiences. We look forward to fueling the growth of both our brand and the potential of everyone who chooses Nerd Focus on their journey.”

Each 12-ounce can of Nerd Focus has 128 milligrams of caffeine. Its proprietary formula is aimed at aiding mental acuity, Nerd Focus said. The beverages are made with a variety of nootropics and adaptogens like Huperzine-A, Ginkgo Biloba and Alpha-GPC, according to the company.

Nerd Focus was created in 2006 by a student at the University of Texas at San Antonio. In 2020, it was acquired by Beverage USA to invest into scaling the brand nationwide. It is available in Texas, New Jersey and the New York metro area at more than 3,500 c-stores, bodegas and grocers, Nerd Focus said.
