Since Wally’s first broke ground on its small but growing enterprise, the bigger-than-big has included EV chargers in its strategy.

Wawa has 150 locations offering EV charging since its first EV station launched in 2017. The chain now offers Tesla Superchargers and chargers with both CCS and CHAdeMO connectors through providers such EVgo, ChargePoint and Electrify America.

Global Partners is dipping its toe in the water with EV charging, said James Cater, electric innovation strategist at the Waltham, Massachusetts-based c-store chain.

In the United States, bp is planning to invest up to $1 billion in EV charging by 2030—and it will spend half of that just in the next three years, said Sujay Sharma, CEO of bp pulse Americas, the oil company’s electric charging branch.

Royal Farms will install 30 DC Fast Chargers at more than a dozen of its stores throughout Maryland and Delaware.
