Former Manager for the Pantry Joins Logic Technology

Colón makes jump from retailer to supplier

LIVINGSTON, N.J. -- Former Pantry category manager Chris Colón has joined the executive team of Logic Technology, developers of electronic cigarettes. In his role as national director of key accounts, Colón will establish and manage new accounts and oversee existing ones with retailers nationwide.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to add such an experienced e-cig category expert to our team,” said Eli Alelov, CEO of Logic Technology. “Chris’ vision and leadership, coupled with his knowledge of industry, will contribute to making Logic a great partner to U.S. retailers and top-selling brand in the United States.”

After studying information technology at North Carolina State University, Colón began his retail career as a part-time sales associate for convenience store retailer The Pantry Inc., Cary, N.C., where within just a few years, he was running his first district. Most recently, Colón held the position of category manager at The Pantry, where he was tasked with distribution and sales of cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, OTP projects and grocery categories. His support and passion for e-cigarettes led him to join forces with Logic.

“Logic is a premium product that clearly has strong brand loyalty among consumers,” said Colón. “I am excited about the opportunity to help build this brand and further expand its presence in the United States.”
