The Food and Drug Administration's Center for Tobacco Products announced that it now has a Spanish-language version of the agency's tobacco-related Web site. The new site is a part of the FDA's efforts to reach the Spanish-speaking community.
The address for the Spanish-language Web site is www.fda.gov/tabaco. According to information provided by the FDA, the site includes tips, downloadable tools and information retailers need to comply with FDA rules:
Rompe la cadena de la adiccion al tabaco. Retailer [image-nocss] education campaign area with free translated printed materials ordered online, regulatory information, educational materials, videos, podcasts and more at www.fda.gov/rompelacadena.
Federal resources. Information on youth tobacco prevention, effective treatment for nicotine addiction and tobacco research and statistics.
Digital timeline. The Tobacco Control Act digital timeline, including past achievements and upcoming deadlines required by the Act.
