Outside legal counsel Kramer joins tobacco retails in full-time capacity

BOULDER, Colo. -- The Cigarette Store Corp. (consisting of Smoker Friendly & Gasamat Oil Corp. of Colorado) has named Ken Kramer as its general counsel and vice president of administration. As a shareholder of Berenbaum Weinshienk PC, Kramer has been the company's outside legal counsel for the past 20 years. He is now joining the team in a full-time capacity.

Kramer concentrated his legal career in public practice in the fields of corporate governance, real-estate leasing, property tax, commercial lending, condemnation, landlord/tenant disputes, representation of associations and commercial litigation.

Boulder, Colo.-based Smoker Friendly is America's largest cigarette and tobacco store retailer. It designed the Smoker Friendly Authorized Dealer Program for existing retail tobacco store and convenience store operators who wish to market a competitively priced private-label product within an exclusive protected territory. This program is for the tobacco retailer who wants the advantages of a private label; more interaction with other tobacco retailers including information and idea sharing; clout with manufacturers; and the greater synergies that a nationally known private-label brand like Smoker Friendly provides.

There are more than 800 stores across the United States with the SF Private-Label Tobacco Family.

The Cigarette Store Corp., dba Smoker Friendly, directly owns and operates 84 stores in Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, Wyoming and Utah, which includes 20 Gasamat convenience stores that offer fuel. Gasamat Oil Corp. of Colorado is based in Commerce City, Colo.
