Cigar Dollar Sales Flat Even as Unit Sales Grow 5.6%

Cigarette sales in convenience stores continue to slide, while e-cigarettes see nearly 98% unit-sales growth. Cigars, meanwhile, saw unit-sales growth of nearly 6%, but dollar sales remained generally flat, according to 52-week data ending May 18, 2014, from IRI, a Chicago-based market research firm (@iriworldwide).
