WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. -- Wilson Farms Neighborhood Stores has signed a five-year contract with Fifth Third Bank Processing Solutions for electronic funds transfer (EFT) services, including gateway access and ATM driving, and for credit, debit card and electronic benefits transfer processing.
"Wilson Farms needed a partner to provide for both point-of-sale debit and credit card processing as well as for ATM driving," said Dan Shanahan, the chain's CFO. "Our customers will enjoy the convenience of multiple payment options at the cash register as well as [image-nocss] our onsite ATM service."
Willaimasville, N.Y.-based Wilson Farms Neighborhood Food Stores currently operates 198 convenience store and gasoline locations across the state of New York.
Fifth Third Bank Processing Solutions processes more than 12 billion ATM and POS transactions per year for more than 1,350 financial institutions and more than 135,000 retail locations worldwide, it said, including the Armed Forces Financial Network (AFFN), First Niagara Financial Group, Sovereign Bank, The Kroger Co., AutoZone, Abercrombie & Fitch, Nordstrom, Inc. and The Finish Line. Annually, Fifth Third processes $110 billion in credit card sales.
