Triton, Ventus Partner for Wireless ATM Connectivity

Deal includes monitoring, maintenance, management services

LONG BEACH, Miss. -- ATM manufacturer Tritona major North American provider of off-premise ATMs and ATM management softwarehas signed an agreement with Ventus Networks to bring a comprehensive, managed wireless network infrastructure to the U.S. ATM market.

The agreement with Ventus Networks, a provider of managed networked telecommunications solutions for the financial services industry, will ensure that U.S. customers who buy or lease Triton equipment will benefit from Ventus Networks' secure and reliable wireless connectivity to drive in-house and [image-nocss] off-premise financial devices. This agreement also includes monitoring, maintenance and management services.

Unlike traditional dial-up, wireless ATM transactions are up to two to three times faster than dial-up connections, resulting in higher transaction volume and easier customer access to cash, said Triton president and CEO Brian Kett.

The partnership between Triton and Ventus Networks creates an integrated approach for ATM purchase, connectivity and networking. Ventus Networks' highly secure high-speed wireless transport solution operates in a variety of current and legacy protocols, enabling any remote device (ATM/POS) to communicate through a single network scheme.

Triton, headquartered in Long Beach, Miss., is a subsidiary of the Dover Corp. Ventus Networks, based in Norwalk, Conn., provides wireless and fixed wire telecommunication networks including a suite of managed infrastructure service solutions and hardware alternatives.
