TIO, Tranax Partner for Presto

Set to deliver self-service bill payment, financial services to retailer

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Automated bill payment and financial services network provider TIO Networks Corp. and ATM and self-service kiosks developer Tranax Technologies have announced that it will begin to deliver new self-service automated kiosks to Conoco- and Phillips-branded Presto Convenience Stores.

TIO Networks and Tranax demonstrated their standalone self-service kiosk and ATM hybrid models at the ConocoPhillips Conference this week in Orlando. These kiosks allow customers to receive cash, pay bills and buy pre-paid cards all from the same machine.

There is a tremendous opportunity for retailers to develop bill payment and other financial services for the non cash customer, said Hamed Shahbazi, Chairman and CEO of TIO Networks. Self-service kiosks increase customer satisfaction and transactions and reduce convenience store costs. Customers can operate the machines 24/7 as simply as they might an ATM machine. We are delighted that Presto Convenience Stores, one of the largest resellers of ConocoPhillips products and services, will be among the first to install them.

Dr. Hansup Kwon, president and CEO of Tranax, said, Tranax Technologies is investing heavily in the self-service market. We believe it offers retailers and other business the ability to serve their customers better, faster and in more ways than ever. TIO Networks offers a strong sustainable business model for resellers and franchisees as well as a fully supported range of financial services. TIO also has a strong track record in selling and supporting retailers.

Andover, Kansas-based Presto operates 38 c-stores37 in Kansas and two in Missouri.

Burnaby, B.C.-based TIO Networks is building a national multi-retailer network of financial services kiosks for the cash preferred consumer marketplace in North America. It currently has more than 900 locations and several top-tier corporate-owned c-store chains participating.
