Roundy's Rolls Out Fuelperks Program

New rewards card give discounts at BP stations

MILWAUKEE -- Roundy's Supermarkets Inc. has introduced a new program to help customers save money on gasoline this summer as a benefit of a new Roundy's Rewards Card. Fuelperks! allows shoppers to save 10 cents off per gallon of gasoline for every $50 they spend in qualified purchases at Pick 'n Save stores in Kenosha and Wausau, Wis.

Customers sign up for a Roundy's Rewards Card, found at a Rewards Card kiosk at participating Pick 'n Save stores. For every $50 they spend at Pick 'n Save on qualified items, they earn 10 cents off per gallon of gasoline at participating BP gas [image-nocss] stations. They insert the Roundy's Rewards Card at the pump of a participating station when they fill up and receive the discount on up to 20 gallons of gasoline in a single pump transaction. The price at the pump will roll back and the discount will automatically be applied. They can use the Roundy's Rewards Card for fuel discounts whether they pay at the pump or inside the store.

With Fuelperks!, customers can save 40 cents per gallon of gasoline if they spend $200 on groceries. That means if gasoline at participating stations is priced at $4 per gallon, a Fuelperks! customer would pay $3.60 per gallon and save $8 on a 20-gallon tank of fuel.

Sales pur chases are cumulative. Customers do not have to spend $50 in a single transaction at Pick 'n Save to earn discounts. They can spend $10 one day and $40 the next week and still earn the discount. Savings will automatically show up on the Pick 'n Save register receipt when the customer reaches a $50 level. Also, discounts will accumulate on the Rewards Card until they redeem them at the pump.

Fuelperks! runs throughout the summer. Customers can earn rewards through September 10. Discounts can be redeemed in the month they were earned plus the next two months.

Milwaukee-based Roundy's is a leading grocer in the Midwest with nearly $4 billion in sales. It operates 152 retail grocery stores under the Pick 'n Save, Copps, Rainbow and Metro Market banners in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
