Retalix Promotes Two

Weant, Lippy to lead supply chain, distribution teams

DALLAS -- Retalix USA, provider of enterprisewide software solutions for distributors and food retailers, has promoted Tammy Weant to senior vice president of supply chain solutions and Donna Lippy to vice president of sales for the distribution segment.

Both Weant and Lippy worked for IDS until it was acquired by Retalix in 2005.

Weant, with more then 25 years in the distribution industry, will lead Retalix USA's product solution marketing and sales support for Retalix Power Enterprise, Retalix Power Warehouse, Retalix InSync [image-nocss] and Retalix SCM Classic solutions.

Tammy has significant experience with Retalix customers and Enterprise products, and her expertise and knowledge will be invaluable in driving growth across our business, said Ray Carlin, executive vice president of Retalix USA.

Donna Lippy will be responsible for leading sales efforts in North America in the foodservice and convenience distribution segments. Lippy brings 10 years of sales experience with IDS and its predecessor company, H&S Computer Systems.

With more than 42,000 sites installed across 51 countries, Retalix solutions serve the needs of multi-national grocery chains, convenience and fuel retailers, foodservice operators, food and consumer goods distributors and independent grocers. It offers a portfolio of software applications that automate and synchronize essential retailing, distribution and supply chain operations, encompassing stores, headquarters and warehouses.

The company's International headquarters are located in Ra'anana, Israel, and its U.S. headquarters are located in Dallas.
