Pantry Selects APT's Test & Learn Management System

Retailer signs three-year license on business analytics platform
SANFORD, N.C. -- The Pantry Inc. has signed an agreement to license Applied Predictive Technologies' Test & Learn Management System, Test & Learn for Sites. The Pantry chose APT after a brief pilot in which analyses were conducted across the organization including foodservice installations, human resource management programs and product pricing. The team at APT was able to demonstrate the value of institutionalizing a Test & Learn process across the network, the company said, and plans are in place to continue and expand the breadth of testing.

"Especially in [image-nocss] this economy, gaining insights into costly programs before rollout is an excellent means of maintaining a true competitive advantage," said Frank Paci, chief financial officer of The Pantry. "APT's Test & Learn Suite allows us to quickly and easily investigate the success of programs, tailor them to maximize profits and then roll them out across our stores, generating enormous value."
